Materials I used:
· Coloured card or chart paper
· Crepe paper of different colours
· White craft glue
· Scissors
· Pencil and eraser
· A rough sheet to cover the work table
How I did it:
1. We cut the coloured card/chart paper to the size we wanted. It’s better to use a large piece card as it should have enough space for the hands once folded.
2. We neatly folded that chart paper to make a card. You can make the card any shape e.g. triangle, square, diamond.
3. I drew a big shape of a tree on the card and my 3 year old son spread white craft glue inside this drawing. You can draw any big drawing for your child such as a butterfly, a big flower, a house etc. so that it’s easy for your child to stick on the crepe paper.
4. Then, he tore little bits of crepe paper, crushed them into tiny pieces and stuck them on to the glued area until the drawing was covered with various colours.
5. We let the glue dry and the crafty card was ready to be dispatched with a sweet note written inside it.
