Materials I used:
· 1 small styrofoam rectangle
· 1 yellow acrylic/poster paint bottle
· 1 flat paintbrush
· 1 set of markers
· 1 set of crayons or oil pastels
· Assorted beads or buttons
· 1 glue gun
· Wool of 2 different colors
· Double sided tape
How I made it:
1. First, I painted the entire styrofoam sheet with yellow color and allowed it to completely dry.
2. Then, mama drew a big sun on the entire sheet with marker.
3. I colored my sun orange with crayons.
4. Then, I glued different beads on the corners of the sheet using glue gun. (You might want to use buttons etc. instead of beads).
5. I threaded a bead through each string of wool.
6. Then, I pierced holes at the bottom of the sheet using a pencil and threaded the beaded wool through the sheet to make small tassels. We tied a knot to secure them.
Voilla! Our bright and sunny wall hanging was now ready.
Mama used the double sided tape to hang it up and brighten up the room.
